Virtues of Dhikr (The excellence of remembering Allah, 3 of 12)
Transliteration
وَقَالَ صلى الله عليه وسلم: كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ، حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ:
Aboo Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said:’ There are Two words, which are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale and beloved to The Most Gracious:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subḥāna llāhi wa bi-ḥamdihi, subḥna llāhi l-ʿaẓīm
How perfect Allah is and I praise Him. How perfect Allah is, The Supreme.
