Hisn al-Muslim #231Chapter: How a Muslim should praise another Muslim

How to Praise a Muslim (How a Muslim should praise another Muslim)

Transliteration

He said: If anyone of you is compelled to praise his companion, then he should say:

Aḥsibu fulānan wa-llāhu ḥasībuhu, walā uzakkī ʿalā llāhi aḥadā

I consider so-and-so [to be…], and Allah is his Reckoner. I do not declare anyone pure before Allah.

If he knows those qualities of him, he may add: I consider him to be such-and-such.
